Code Geass: Akito of the Exiled - The Torn Up Wyvern - Anime Review

As I enjoyed the previous OVA episode, I thought that this OVA episode was more character driven, despite this OVA episode having a lengthy fight scene, at the end of this episode. This episode features the backgrounds of Ryo, Yukia and Anyo, while also developing the Suzuka and Julius Kingsley subplot. This episode features some fanservice in it, in particular the pilot suits that Akito’s teammates wear. Leila in particular gets a good amount of fanservice in this OVA episode, when she puts on her mecha when suiting up. I thought the scene in this OVA episode where the viewer gets to see Shin’s mecha for the first time, was in a particular a memorable scene IMO. I thought that the new characters that show up in this OVA episode were interesting and unique.

Overall, I thought that this OVA episode was solid. I thought that the voice cast and background music in this OVA episode were good also. I can’t wait to see the remaining three OVA episodes of this Code Geass spinoff series.
