Dragon Ball Z: Movie Three - The Tree of Might - Anime Review

As I’m a casual fan of this franchise, I thought that this movie was okay, at best. As Gohan gets some focus in this movie, I thought that Gohan’s relationship with Hire Dragon in this movie was cute. As I thought that the camping clothes that Gohan wears at the start of this movie, made Gohan look cute also. Despite this movie having approximately running for one-hour, there was time to showcase the fight scenes, and give some character development to the cast also. I thought that Tullece-sama was a good villain for the Z warriors, as Tullece-sama IMO did some evil things to Gohan, which made him a good heel, IMO. Gohan does appear naked in this movie for a short period of time, so this is my only warning that this movie isn’t family friendly.

I thought that seeing Gohan turn into a giant monkey was a great scene IMO, as this transformation is rare in the Dragon Ball Z movie franchise. I thought it was great to see Kaio-sama (King Kai) in a Dragonball Z movie, despite his brief appearance in this movie. Overall, I thought that this movie was okay at best, and I also enjoyed the ending credits of this movie.
