Umamusume: Pretty Derby - Beginning of a New Era - Movie Review

As I’m a fan of mainly animated films, I thought that I would watch this movie on the big screen, as I can’t get to all anime movies, playing at the cinemas. As I have never seen an episode of Umamusume anime TV series, I went into this movie blind, and I thought it was average at best. The highlight of course was the race/running scenes, and I thought that the production values of this movie, was a movie budget experience. I thought the 2D and 3DCG concert scene after the plot was resolved IMO was good and catchy, IMO. There was no post credit scene for this movie, and the runtime of this movie was roughly one hundred and eight minutes. Overall, I had a fun new experience with the sport of horse racing, and I would recommend this movie to fans of the sport of horse racing, and fans of the TV anime series.
