Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Urdr Hunt-Path of the Little Challenger and Iron-Blooded Orphans 10th Anniversary Short Film Wedge of Interposition - Movie Review
As I’ve just come home from watching these two Gundam movies, I thought that I would post my thoughts of these two Gundam movies while it’s still fresh in my mind. I thought that the movie Path of the Little Challenger was interesting, as this movie is based on a video game from Iron blooded Orphans. I will admit that to get the most out of this movie, one IMO has to have played this Gundam IBO video game, that this movie is based on. The plot and the mecha fights go at a fast pace, and the character Iok Kujan plays a small role in this movie. I thought that the Gundam and mobile armor designs in this movie are fantastic. All the mecha action in this movie are 2D hand drawn, and there’s very little 3DCG used in this movie. I also thought that the character designs were great, interesting and unique. This Gundam movie IMO went for around one hour.
I thought that the 10th anniversary short film Wedge of Interposition movie was better than the Path of the Little Challenger movie. I thought that the mecha action in this movie was short and sweet. This Iron-Blooded Orphans short film goes for around thirty minutes. This movie short goes into detail how Orga Itsuka got his suit. This movie ends with raise your flag song playing in the ending credits of this movie. Overall, I enjoyed both movies a lot, and I would recommend these two movies to fans of Gundam IBO TV series and video game
