Hana-Kimi - Manga Review
As I’m a small fan of manga, I thought that I would kindly review this manga series. Hana-Kimi is short for Hanazakari no Kimitachi e, which means ‘For You in Your Blossom. This manga series plot deals with Mizuki Ashiya, how is a American. Mizuki one day watches TV and sees a Japanese track meet and falls in love with high jumper Izumi Sano. Mizuki falls in love with Sano so much, that Mizuki moves to Japan and attends Osaka Gakuen, where it is an all-boys boarding school. Personally, I fell in love with the cast of characters in this manga. My favourite character only second to Mizuki is Hokuto Umeda, the school doctor. I thought that this manga series had an interesting set of characters, humour, and lots of drama.
The manga series of Hana-Kimi runs for twenty-three manga volumes. This manga series helped me get through university/college. My favourite characters besides Mizuki and Umeda, would have to be the relatives of Umeda. Personally, I can’t wait to watch the anime series of this manga series, in the near future. Overall, I would recommend this manga series who like Ouran High School Host Club, Fruits Basket and Ao Haru Ride.
