The Girl that Leapt through Time - Anime Review

As I’m a fan of anime movies, mainly due to their larger budgets, I simply fell in love with this anime movie. This movie follows seventeen-year-old Mokoto Kanno and her two friends Chiaki and Kousake. The trio manly hang around one another playing catch with a baseball. Mokto’s life changes when she finds a time leaping device. Mokoto uses the time leaping device to improve her grades, prevent personal mishap among other choices. I thought that the 3DCG used in this movie looks a million bucks. This movie is directed by Mamoru Hosoda, and so far, I am impressed with his directing. This movie does contain a likeable cast of characters, and the ending credits has stills pictures from this movie, in the ending credits scene. Overall, this anime movie is a personal favourite of mine, and I can’t wait to watch the Summer Wars movie next.
