Paprika - Anime Review

As I’m a big fan of the late great Satoshi Kon and all of his works, I admit I enjoyed this sci-fi/thriller movie. I thought that this movie clocking in at ninety minutes was the perfect length, for this movie. As I value original works more than adaptions, I give Satoshi Kon credit for coming up with interesting concepts/ideas for an anime movie. I thought that this movie was very colourful and interesting and also having a very interesting set of characters. I thought that the DC Mini device with the power to delve into the dreams of others was an interesting plot point. I thought that the characters in this movie were designed interestingly, and I thought that the script was tight and on point. There is minor nudity in this movie, but in general, this movie is very family friendly IMO. Overall, I would personally give this Satoshi Kon movie a solid recommendation. In conclusion I would give this movie a ranking of fourth, in-regards to this movie being my fourth favourite movie from Satoshi Kon, out of the four anime movies Satoshi Kon has made/created/directed.
