Perfect Blue - Anime Review

As I’m a big fan of the late great Satoshi Kon, this movie IMO is my favourite movie, from Satoshi Kon. What I love about this movie is that this movie is a psychological thriller, and this movie is for adults. I like how that this movie treats the viewer with respect. This movie deals with Mima Kirigone a pop idol wanting to be an actress. The transition for Mima from pop idol to actress is very hard on her, and that this movie contains nudity and adult themes. I thought that the two chase scenes in this movie were good and intense. I thought that the one hour and seventeen-minute movie didn’t feel rushed, and there’s a twist at the very end of this movie, which I enjoyed. I would recommend this movie if you’re looking for an adult movie, that pulls no punches.
