Avatar: Fire and Ash - Movie Review

As I’m a movie fan in general, I thought that I would see how the third installment of this franchise. As the first Avatar movie came out in 2009, this movie looks great, with new creature designs, inhabiting the world of Pandora. I thought that the character development that Neytiri goes through in this movie, was the highlight for me. I didn’t like the character Spider in this movie, as I found that Spider didn’t really choose a side in this movie, until it was too late into this movie. I thought that the fight on the battleship near the end of this movie, was the best fight sequence of this movie in this movie. I thought that the showdown fight between Jake and Quaritch was a good fight also, IMO. I thought that the interactions between Varang and Neytiri were interesting, as both characters have different values, beliefs and loyalties. I thought that this movie looked great, and I thought that a certain character that was pro killing the wildlife, got a death that was karma. Overall, I thought that this movie was average at best IMO, and I thought that the three hour and fifteen-minute runtime, was a long time to sit in one sitting. Despite this movie rehashing some ideas and themes from Avatar: The way of water, I still enjoyed this movie, and I can’t wait to see how the sequel to this movie plays out, in the future.
