Gundam Wing Endless Waltz Glory of the Losers - Manga Review
As I’m a fan of Gundam Wing, I thought that I would read all fourteen volumes of this manga series. There will be spoilers of this manga series in my post, so if you kindly don’t want to be spoiled about this Gundam manga series, it’s best to go to another website, IMO and don’t kindly read ahead. In the first volume of this manga series, there are Mobile Gundam Wing Ver.Ka mobile suit designs, and that Duo is attacking some mobile suits at the start of operation meteor. There is also a flashback in volume one with the reader getting a flashback of how Heero meet Releena Peace Craft. There is also some colour pages at the start of this manga volume also. In volume two of this manga series, the reader understands that Wufei is wearing glasses at the start of this manga volume, and that Wufei is married to Meilan, but Meilan had died. In volume three of this manga series, Releena’s father dies because of some debride, and not like his TV series counterpart. In volume four of this manga series Heero is facing Duo in a fencing contest. Also, Trowa fights Oz in his clown outfit, which I thought was interesting.
In volume five of this manga series, Zech’s helmet breaks in an iconic way, which is different to the Gundam Wing TV series. Volume six of this manga series, shows Quartre getting some background information of his past. Operation Nova starts in this manga volume. The character Hilde Schbeiker is introduced in this manga volume, and Duo meets Hilde in this manga volume. In volume nine of this manga series the character Pagan gets a flashback, which I thought was interesting. In volume ten of this manga series, has the Gundam Epyon (Heero) vs. Wing Zero (Zech’s). In volume eleven of this manga series has Heero and Zech’s swap mobile suits, so Heero is piloting Wing Zero and Zech’s is piloting the Epyon Gundam. Volume twelve of this manga series has some nice Trowa and Cathrine moments in it. Volume thirteen has Trowa regain his memories, as a Gundam pilot. Volume fourteen concludes the story about operation meteor. Overall, I really liked the story and the new interruption of Gundam Wing’s plot and cast of characters. I personally prefer the manga version of the story, compared to the anime’s story and plot. It also helps that I really like the variant mecha designs of the mobile suits in this manga series, and its interruption of the mecha designs in general. Overall, I would only kindly recommend this Gundam manga to fans of the Gundam Wing anime.
