Star Wars: The Wedding of Luke and Mara - Union - Comic Book Review

As I’m a fan a big fan of the Dark Horse Star Wars universe, I thought that this four-issue story was good IMO. The first issue of this mini-series sees the wedding of Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade as a political wedding between the Republic and the Imperial forces. I thought that the troubles Mara Jade has of choosing a wedding dress in this comic book issue was intriguing IMO. The second issue deals with the Jedi Council hosting a ceremony for Luke and Mara Jade getting married. I thought that the double spread page of the image of the couple walking under light sabers was the highlight of this issue IMO.

I thought that the third comic book issue was great IMO, as there’s a scene of Luke and Mara near the end of this comic book where they kiss one another, before their wedding. I thought that the final issue of this mini-series was simply fantastic, as it’s deals with seeing Mara Jade in her wedding dress, and also the reader gets to experience the vow’s that Luke and Mara make to one another. If you are a Star Wars fan, and enjoy the Star Wars Dark Horse universe, then I would kindly say that this comic event is a must buy mini-series IMO.
