Detective Conan: Movie Thirteen - The Raven Chaser - Anime Review

As I’m a fan of this franchise, I thought that this movie had potential to be a really good movie, involving the Black Organization. I thought that the opening scene of this movie was good, with the movie starting off with a nightmare for Conan. As each Detective Conan movie has the cast in great clothing design, I did enjoy the cast and what they wear, in this movie. I thought that the 3DCG cars and helicopter and people walking in the background was noticeable, IMO. I liked how this movie incorporated Conan’s primary school life, into this movie, as I believe wrongly or rightly, that this is the first movie to showcase this element of Conan’s life. I thought that The Black Organization character Irish was interesting, and I also liked how this movie showcased the adult cast, from the police.

Overall, I thought that this movie was average. IMO this movie could have been a great movie, but it wasn’t to be IMO, due to pacing issues.
