The Ribbon Hero - Anime Review

As I’m a big fan of Tezuka anime works, I went into this movie with zero expectations, and after watching this movie, it looks like we have a winner. As I have seen the original Princess Sapphire in Japanese and uncut, this movie IMO is a modern spin off, of the fifty-two-episode TV series. This movie moved at a fast pace, and I thought that the one hour and fifty-one minute of this movie, flew by. I won’t spoil all the easter eggs in this movie, but as the original Princess Sapphire is a personal favourite anime TV series of mine, hopefully there is a physical release of this movie in the future, as I will buy it in a heartbeat. Overall, I had a great time with this movie, and I can’t wait to see more Netflix ONA’s, in the future.
