Kaleido Star OVA Two: Legend of Phoenix: Layla Hamilton Story - Anime Review

As I’m a big fan of the character Layal from Kaleido Star TV series, this OVA was for me a joy to watch. Thes story of this OVA deals with Layla’s struggling on Broadway and trying to find her own artistic dissatisfaction and pressure. This OVA IMO showcases the bond and rivalry between Sora and Layla. As IMO OVA episodes have a bigger budget than an anime TV series, the animation and production values are noticeably higher, IMO. I thought that the 3DCG of backgrounds was good, in this OVA episode. I thought it was great that the viewer learns that Layla’s mother’s name is Rola, which the Kaleido Star TV series didn’t mention. Overall, I had a fantastic time with this OVA episode, and I can’t wait to watch the next and final OVA episode of Kaleido Star.
