Space Battleship Yamato 2199: Odyssey of the Celestial Ark - Anime Review

As I’m a fan of this anime franchise, I thought that this one-hundred-and-eleven-minute movie was interesting and unique movie. I thought that the screenplay from Yutaka Izubuchi was excellent. I thought that the story of this movie was interesting, as this movie focuses on a group of humans and Garmillon are trapped together. I thought that the threat of the Gatlantis was solid as a new villain. Overall, I thought that this movie was excellent. I thought that the 2D digitial animation and 3DCG was flawless, and of a high standard. I would recommend this movie to fans of the Yamato franchise only, as this movie requires the viewer to understand the background of the large cast.
