Space Battleship Yamato 2199 - Anime Review

As I’m a fan of space opera anime, I was attracted to this anime movie series because of Yutaka Izubuchi. Yutaka Izubuchi wrote this series screenplay. I thought that the animation from AIC and Xebec, were solid and crisp. I thought that musical score by Akira Miyagawa was perfect for this anime series. I thought that the 3DCG was flawless, and I thought that the fanservice in this series was unique. As space opera anime IMO is a dead genre, I was glad that this anime was able to fill the gap in space opera franchise. I had a fantastic time with this anime movie series, and I can’t wait to watch more of this anime franchise.
