Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway - Anime Review

My first reaction when watching this movie, was that it was amazing. My favourite scenes from this movie would be the opening scene, when Hathaway takes on Mafty terrorists on the plane, and when Hathaway and Gigi are embracing one another in the park, where a Mafty mobile suit is on fire. IMO, this movie has a spy feel to this movie, as the viewer doesn’t get the monologue in the characters heads, which remined me of the phrase, show don’t tell. I thought that the music and animation was simply outstanding, in this movie. While watching this movie, I simply thought that studio Sunrise did a fantastic job of planning and producing this movie, and I can understand why this movie got delayed, due to production issues, and trying to get every frame and second of this movie absolutely perfect. To watch this movie, the viewer needs to have watched the Gundam film, Char’s Counterattack. Overall, it’s not hard to fall in love with this Gundam movie, and I can’t wait for future installments of this movie trilogy.
