Macross: Do You Reember Love? - Anime Review

As I’m a big fan of the original Macross TV series, this movie clocks in about two hours long. This movie features Minmay fanservice, when Hikaru and Minmay are stranded aboard the Macross ship. This movie changes how Roy Focker and Ben die, compared to the TV series. This movie also changes how Max falls in love with Millia, then compared to the TV series. I thought that the various songs that Minmay sings in this TV movie were directed fantastically. My favourite scene through-out this movie is when Minmay and Hikaru are on a date together, and their clothes change to different outfits, like they are wearing the clothes. Overall, I would give this movie a four out of five, mainly due to pacing issues of this movie. This movie is a must watch, for fans of the Macross franchise.
