Young Black Jack - Anime Review

As I’m a fan of the character Black Jack, I can say I had a good time watching this anime series. This TV series stars the character Black Jack when he was in college, learning about medicine. Black Jack’s unique look are the scars on his body, which is due to a bomb exploding in front of him, when he was young. Some knowledge of Black Jack is required to watch this series. My favourite arc of this TV series for me is the Vietnam arc, due to this arc having the character Dr. Kiriko in it.  Despite owning the young Black Jack manga series, I still think this adaption of the manga series was good. As I have seen all the anime episodes of Black Jack beforehand, I got the most out of this TV series. I will say to get all the references in this TV series, plot twists and ending anime ending credits, you will know the basics about Black Jack’s past and seen at least the Black Jack twelve-episode OVA series. Overall, I thought that this TV series was solid to me, while newbies will likely find this anime TV series average at best.
