You're Under Arrest: The Movie - Anime Review
As I’m a fan of the You’re Under Arrest anime franchise, I enjoyed this ninety-minute movie from start to finish. As You’re Under Arrest anime franchise is an action/comedy genre, I thought that this movie was great to watch, as this movie is in widescreen. As this movie was made in 1999, this movie is a cell animation (hand drawn) production. The plot of this movie deals with Bokuto police station protecting the city from a group of terrorists. the plot deals with the mysterious disk, with a program on the disk called Bee Number One Mod. The You’re Under Arrest anime franchise is special to me, as the You’re Under Arrest TV series was one of the gateway anime series that I watched, when I seriously got into anime. This movie has some animation still shots in it, but the few still images in this movie, is used to enhance the drama, near the end of this movie. The dynamic duo of Miyuki and Natsumi are the reason I adore this anime franchise, and this movie takes place after the first TV series. This movie was an easy watch for me, and I was entertained from beginning to end.
