Mobile Suit Gundam - Movie One - Anime Review

As I’m a big fan of the Universal Centaury timeline, I was drawn immediately to this movie, as there’s a colony drop within opening minutes of this movie. This movie goes for roughly one hundred and thirty-nine minutes. I thought that the viewer seeing Haro for the first time, was interesting and unique. I thought that the scene of seeing Char in his red Zaku and also being a masked character was interesting. I also thought that the Char kick in his mobile suit, started a trend, in mecha combat. I thought that the Bright slap to Amuro, also stated a trend in Mobil Suit Gundam shows. I thought that the Char shower scene was interesting, as this scene is repeated in various Gundam shows. I thought that the scene where Amuro meets his mom was a heart-breaking scene, as nothing positive come off this scene, IMO. I thought that this movie finished on a good note, with the Zeon battle-cry. Overall, I enjoyed this movie a lot, and I can’t wait to watch to see how the following two sequel movies playout.
