Sailor Moon R - The Movie - Anime Review

As I grew up with the dubbed version of Sailor Moon in the early nineties, I thought that this movie was quite good. I thought that for cell animation, this movie looked great. This movie runs for sixty minutes, with a thirty minute extra entitled Make Up! Sailor guardians. I thought that the 2D special effects in this movie when the asteroid was in shot, look good for its time. I wont’s go into spoilers of this movie, but the character Fiore, was a good villain, for Sailor Moon and her groupies. I thought that the insert song that played when Usagi uses the silver crystal was IMO a great moment in this movie. Overall, I enjoyed this movie a lot, and I can’t wait to watch the remaining two other Sailor Moon movies.
