Leave it to Kero-Chan - Anime Review
As I’m a big fan of the anime Card Captor Sakura, I actually bought the region two DVD of movie two of Card Captor Sakura, to watch this mini movie. Despite the runtime of this mini movie only going for roughly ten minutes, I thought that this mini movie was actually well done. This movie starts off in Sakura’s bedroom, with Kero and Spinel fighting over the last octopus's ball, that Sakura makes. In this movie, the camera is put into a specific angle, so the viewer can’t see Sakura’s face. After Kero and Spinel fight over the last octopus's ball, the last octopus’s ball falls on Takashi’s head. Kero and Spinel then have a race to see who can eat the last octopus’s ball, with the octopus’s ball making the rounds around the town. After the octopus’s ball chase around town, Kero and Spinel make their way back to Sakura’s room, were Sakura makes another batch of octopus’s balls for Spinel and Kero. I thought that the end credit animation was good, showing Kero and Spinel’s antics. Overall, I thought that this mini movie was quite good, and IMO it’s worth tracking down a new or used copy of the DVD or Blu-ray, just to watch the antics of these two four legged creatures.
