Card Captor Sakura - Anime Review

This anime series has seventy episodes, and IMO this is studio MadHouse at their best. There are three anime seasons of Card Captor Sakura with season one being thirty-five episodes long, season two being eleven episodes long, and finally season three being twenty-four episodes long. If I had to choose only one episode to be my favourite episode out of the seventy episodes, it would have to be episode seven, from season one (the silent card). I thought that the anime production at MadHouse that worked on this series, did a fantastic job of delivering a faithful manga adaption of the manga. Card Captor Sakura IMO is one of the standards of what shoujo anime can achieve, both visually, and musically also. The only other anime that I consider the bar or standard of what shoujo anime can be like, and that is the 90’s shoujo anime Sailor Moon. There isn’t much wrong with this anime adaption, and I can see why this franchise is so loveable.
