Sailor Moon - Season One - Anime Review

As I’m a fan of original anime TV series franchise, I can see why this anime series is considered a classic. When I was growing up, I watched the DIC english dub when it aired in the morning. I thought that the characters (particular the villians) were interesting. This season of Sailor Moon runs for forty-six episodes, and pretty much every character in this season of Sailor Moon gets good character development. I thought that the villain of the week, got me to watch every episode of this season. My favourite villain from this season would be Nephrite, as Nephrite gets the most character development from the four Shitennou, of Queen Beryl. My favourite sailor scout would have to be Miko (Sailor Jupiter). I thought that the music and character design of all the characters look attractive, and all the characters look unique and different from modern anime TV series now. I will admit that this anime season of Sailor Moon has limited and repeated animation, to help save the budget of the anime production. I thought that the production team for its time did a fantastic job with what budget they had for this TV series, as IMO this anime production is solid. Overall, I had a blast watching this season of Sailor Moon, and I can’t wait to see what Sailor Moon R has in stall for me.
